Step by step
Installing the terminal and opening a trading account are separate steps. An EX5 robot requires compatible MT5 desktop software; the mobile app and web terminal do not replace it.
Open Deriv using the confirmed link below. In the official environment, find the MetaTrader 5 options for your operating system and region. Download the installer provided there and follow its setup wizard.
Launch MT5 and connect your account to the server specified by your broker. Start on demo where available. Your website password may differ from your trading account password.
If several terminals are installed, check which one is open before copying an EA. Each installation may have its own Data Folder. Keep credentials and private robot files confidential.
