Step by step
Review positions and pending orders first. Disabling algorithmic trading, removing an EA and closing positions are different actions. Decide how existing trades will be managed.
In Navigator, find the running EA under the account and use the context-menu removal option. Confirm its chart instance disappears. Check other charts for additional instances.
To delete the file too, keep a private backup and remove only the intended EX5 from MQL5 > Experts with MT5 closed. Do not delete shared dependencies. Recheck charts, positions and orders after restarting.
